Last week, Tessica Brown went viral on Tik Tok for using Gorilla Glue as a hairspray. She stated that her hair had been stuck solid for a month. She sought treatment at the ER, but the acetone treatment only made her situation worse by burning her scalp.
Tessica Brown even started a Go Fund Me to raise funds to pay for her treatment. She has raised over $13,000.
She is reportedly looking on suing Gorilla Glue claiming the product says “do not use on eyes, skin, or clothing” with no mention of hair. She claims that she feels the label is misleading.
Gorilla Glue has even released a statement:
We are very sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident that Miss Brown experienced using our Spray Adhesive on her hair. We are glad to see in her recent video that Miss Brown has received medical treatment from her local medical facility and wish her the best. pic.twitter.com/SoCvwxdrGc

The company did not directly comment on the potential lawsuit, but they continue to state that the spray should only be used for “craft, home, auto or office products.”
