We sent that email with his case information on 7/18 and it wasn’t until today, 8/14 after us reaching out to them that they tell us that they did not receive anything, and once we confirmed that the email was delivered and they found it, they will not take the case. An email or call telling us the case wasn’t going to be accepted would have been GREATLY appreciated, and they couldn’t even give us the time of day or courtesy to get back to us to let us know of their decision. They decided to ghost us instead. I’m not upset that they didn’t take the case. I’m upset that they wasted a month of our time waiting to hear back only for them to tell us no, which would’ve taken a minute to do so. This left us really bitter, especially after we discussed with Lupe how my boyfriend’s previous lawyer also ghosted him, even after she accepted his case and was already working on it.
